Side-effecting requests wait here for Casey — the approval gate. In the real system they arrive as status: blocked task cards; nothing in this demo has side effects. Approve = verified agent task (+5 XP).
Feed: simulated · 2–5 s cadence · Memory: shared Obsidian vault · Runtime: Hermes cloud (Eidetic Modality) + Hermes desktop.

What it is. Kanto Command is the single pane of glass for a hierarchical multi-agent system: the roster and chain of command (The Tree → three Limbs → tiered sub-agents), the approval inbox where every side-effecting request waits for Casey, the decisions log, runtime telemetry, and the CompTIA study track.
Portfolio demo. This page is a demo running a simulated feed — a small template grammar invents plausible coordination chatter in your browser, nothing it "requests" has any effect, and roster edits are saved only to this browser. When the page is served from the vault it also reads the real task queue (_assets/kanto/state.json) and lists blocked cards in the inbox.
The real team. In production the same hierarchy runs on Hermes cloud ("Eidetic Modality", home of The Tree) and Hermes desktop (the local twin), with Claude Desktop as Casey's decision partner and Grok as an independent critic; Connect live events reads the real events table when a connector is available.
Sound. Every sound effect and the four-channel chiptune soundtrack are synthesized live with the Web Audio API — original melodies in a major pentatonic scale, no audio files. The route theme plays while things are calm; the encounter variation kicks in while approvals wait.
Cast. Every character on this page is original art: a robed strategist, a ranger, an engineer, a warden, a circuit owl, a turtle-bot, a raven, and nine little companions drawn as vector pixel art.
